I got this for my 5mp system as it's still compatible and these cameras have some real advantages over the newer 5mp cameras. First, they hit 30 fps compared to the new ones that only do 20 fps. I accidentally bought one of these cameras to add to my existing system which already had several Reolink cameras. I didn't pay attention to this when purchasing and was just looking for a 4MP dome camera to match my existing cameras. After more than a day of frustration with not being able to connect to this camera, I finally found out it was a completely different camera after trying to update the firmware. Apparently the 4MP version of the RLC-420 is no longer available and they are now sold

I like this product but it lacks security. If you're buying this because you don't need anything that uses outbound connections, this isn't for you. Helpdesk can connect to your cameras if you provide them with the UID and password of the camera or NVR. I didn't like that, so I started blocking connections.
