ECOGARD Cabin Air Filter XC35518C is a perfect fit for the 2001 LS430
Cabin Air Filter ECOGARD XC35518C Ideal for 2001 LS430 (8.5"x8.5"x1.25") Air filter is located on the back of the lower glove box. There are instructional videos on YouTube showing how to remove the Changing filter. My car also has a rear air filter system and the filter is in the trunk. It is about 1" longer and almost twice the height of this filter (10.25" x 8.25" x 2") ). So note that the 2001 LS430 has an improved rear air filter system and this filter is not suitable for it.
