I liked this concept after watching several YouTube videos of this product. After getting the kit, I haven't had much success with either jet search tools on or hitting the ground to hear a solid or thud. Finally, what this kit did well for me was finding the cleats, which could also work deep enough to accurately locate the floor joists. If you deviate by even half an inch, these screws won't do the trick. Luckily I had access to check screw positions by going down to the basement to adjust target positions. However, if people don't have easy access to see their subfloor and joists, I feel like I should have a top notch bar finder handy here (I've seen a few places that have a bar finder for US$15-$20 dollars is easily possible). Look for floor joists.) can make a world of difference between love and hate for this product.
