Before I say anything else THE SUCKER IS GREAT - YOU JUST KNOW HOW TO USE IT. I read all these reviews about how bad the suction cup is. I suppose because they just stick it to the wall without bolting it. The suction cup has a locking mechanism. You have to activate it for it to work. Once you do this, the mirror won't move until you unlock it. Now let me do the rest of the review. I'm 57 years old and I shave in the shower almost as long as I shave. I have sensitive skin and am prone to ingrown hairs and shaving in the shower helps a lot. I have tried many different shower mirrors over the years but this is the easiest and best mirror I have ever owned. I used to have mirrors that attached to the shower head lines (to allow water to circulate through the back of the mirror to keep it from fogging up). It was ok but space was clearly limited and you had to be in an awkward position to use the mirror. I've had several mirrors with a coating that supposedly makes them "fog-free". They never work as well as advertised and I had to cover the mirror with a thin film of soap. Over time, the mirror will darken and become stained. I even have a built in shower mirror which is great and looks really good but had one major downside - it takes about 5 minutes to heat up enough that it doesn't fog up once the shower is turned on. So if I forget to turn on the mirror 5 minutes before showering, I'm basically SOL. I bought this mirror for my second shower and it is so simple yet brilliant. It is attached with a strong suction cup (better than the suction cups on the "anti-fog" versions), but that doesn't make the mirror as original. There is a reservoir behind the mirror into which you pour warm or hot water, which prevents the mirror from fogging up. The mirror itself slides off the bracket, which attaches to the shower wall with a suction cup, so you don't have to re-attach the entire unit every time. It literally takes a few seconds to remove the mirror, fill it with warm water and put it back on and you're done. The mirror doesn't fog up all the time when you shower. When you're done showering, all you have to do is pour out the water. It's the perfect size - big enough to see your face but not too big to be obtrusive. I only wish they made a smaller version for travel.
