They have silicone to keep it in place.

I had to replace my old shower door seal after 11 years. This product had to be trimmed (no problem) but it kept falling off. It's not a malleable plastic silicone like my last one. With some silicone to hold it in place it does its job and looks a lot better than my old one that yellowed from time to time.
