I really liked this sink but after three opinions it was decided it wouldn't fit without tearing our countertops. I was heartbroken because it was exactly what I wanted and a single granite sink is hard to find. We apologize for the inconvenience as this was a heavy item that had to be shipped and then returned. We mounted the sink using the brackets and screws provided. Well let me tell you the screws, if you are not very careful they will break while screwing them into the sink. Then you can't use parentheses. We had to buy some silicone glue to stick it to the countertop to keep it from moving and moving because the brackets were useless. My rating would be better as the sink itself is amazing!

That immediately changed the look of our kitchen! I replaced our 10 year old stainless steel double sink with this one and couldn't be happier. I have installation tips as the pilot holes for the top bracket are not drilled deep enough. I had to use a 1/16 drill bit to deepen the holes to screw the hardware securely. I love my sink. I got lots of compliments. It's big and spacious. I can put the biggest pot I have in this sink to clean it without splashing water everywhere. The black color gives it a very rich look and goes well with the faucet I ordered to go with it. It fits the space perfectly, replacing my old sink and complementing the countertop. We installed this sink as part of our kitchen makeover and it's now our favorite piece of the kitchen! The sink is not only beautiful, but also of great importance when washing dishes and keeping things tidy. My only concern is that the sink looks a bit porous. I rinsed the brush in the sink and now you can see that it's discolored a bit. I will also warn other hobbyists that setup was a little tricky. I am very happy with this purchase and I would like to point out a few things. In most photos, this sink appears to be satin black, but it actually has a "black granite" look, which was a plus in my book. The box the sink came in looked a bit crumpled. The sink itself is beautiful and will transform any kitchen. The downside of this sink is the installation and the packaging and handling of this product. Ours arrived in a broken box with a crack and a large chip in the left hand corner of the sink which we assume is due to the way it was handled during shipping. This sink WOULD BE COMFORTABLE TO ACHIEVE 5 STARS. A hole saw can simply slide into the grooves and start cutting. 3- The installation instructions mention using a 32mm (1-1/4") hole saw with a diamond blade to cut the new holes, which is good advice.
