I love the design and quality of these lights. They look like high quality material, not light or flimsy. They fit the stock mounts on my 1986 K5 with no modifications. The headlight connector fits almost the same as the stock connector. They are a little narrower and you have to bend the pins to get them in and also take some effort to fully seat them. The benefit of this is that it's a good connection and they don't bounce off-road. My project was to completely rewire the headlights, so I don't know if the high and low beams will work properly if I just plug them into the factory wiring harness. You can, I just don't know as mine has already been rebuilt for my previous lights. You may need to move some wires in the pigtails. You will also need to find a 12 volt power source with a key to run the DRL. They are much brighter than stock! I hope the photos help you see how they will look on your square body. I found them to be a good mix of old and new.
