While this little device looks perfect, it didn't work properly with my Chromecast and basically broke it. I returned it and had to buy a new Chromecast. Basically, it seemed to work properly at first, but after a few minutes of video streaming, the Chromecast froze. After a quick reboot, I was able to watch for a few more minutes, then it froze again - and this time it stayed on screen with crazy colored bars. I was able to start it again, after which it crashed to a blue screen and still hasn't gotten out of that state. Using a replacement part voided the Chromecast's warranty, so I lost that $40. The best guess is that there was a voltage issue, but who knows. Just buy the official Chromecast version of this thing for about the SAME PRICE! Or add a few and get a Chromecast Ultra that has it built in. Stay away from this thing!
