I would like to start by saying that I don't see much of a difference between Replenish Balm and Hydrate Lotion other than that I like the fresh, cottony scent of Hydrate more, although Replenish also has a lovely and sweet scent fragrance if that is your preference. This balm is more like a lotion - it doesn't leave my hair sticky or greasy, absorbs well and doesn't weigh down my very thin and fine hair at all. I can still feel many products on my hair after drying, but it is not noticeable. Hair feels softer, more hydrated and appears to have a little more volume after use. I didn't notice any split ends after straightening my hair, so I think the heat protection is quite good. I love this product and it works really well for my fine to fine hair. The price is higher than what I would normally pay but if you have the budget I recommend it. Again, Hydrate Lotion is very similar to me, so you might want to consider this product as well.
