It does an excellent job as a cabin filter, but baking soda works wonders.
I bought it for my 02 WRX. I chose this one as the previous owner had dogs and I was slowly getting rid of the fabric and vent smell. It does an excellent job as a cabin air filter, but baking soda works wonders for getting rid of bad odors in the air vents. I've had it in my car for about half a year and every time I turn on the air conditioning, I'm greeted by the pleasant smell of the filter, not the smell of a dog. Recommended for those trying to remove unpleasant odors from the ventilation.
