I personally think this collar is made from better materials and definitely more Padding has as Kong collars for dogs . This particular collar has anti-itch and anti-rash properties. Changing my dog's collar from Kong to this Dogness collar literally reduced the scratches on my Siberian Husky by 91.6%! I am very impressed with the security of the collar not being able to slip over my dog's head. The collar has a nice metal buckle as well as a velcro loop that prevents the collar from loosening or falling off if the metal buckle comes loose for any reason. The metal buckle is really good, well constructed and fits snugly. When I received the collar I had to fiddle with it to make sure it was the right size and get used to it, but once you learn how to put the collar on and off you will be very impressed. . The red collar we chose is a nice light color. The collar also has reflectors surrounding it and you can see it even during the day. Since I am very satisfied with the purchase of this collar, I will buy the matching leash or the black leash to go with it. I hope this review helps you decide.
