Purchased after a neighbor left his car unlocked, thieves used buttons to gain entry to his garage and then the house while the family slept. I didn't know that the programmable buttons in some cars also open the garage when the car is off. Now everyone has them on their key fobs, and every car's garage buttons have been erased, and the garage door has a standard lock. I will say they were easy to program with instructions (maybe it took 2-3 minutes). However, as other reviewers point out, when in your pocket, the buttons are pushed and the doors open. My solution to this was the free Chamberlain app on my phone with notifications when the garage doors are open or left open for more than 5 minutes. As you can see from the photos posted by others, these key fobs are similar in size to car keyless fobs. I originally bought 2 but went back to buy the 3rd. Highly recommended. We've been using it multiple times a day for a month. No crashes.
