The great thing about this lighter is that it is not only waterproof but also windproof as there is no real flame inside. And it's rechargeable. It ignites everything like a traditional BIC or butane lighter. The only downside is that when it's empty it's completely dead and you can't even make a spark until you charge it up again. With conventional lighters, at least they will still spark even if there is no liquid in them, because they still contain flint and steel.
