Review on Maximum Software by Logan Collier

I liked how easy it was to use all the features in Maximo 7. The interface made getting around very simple. It's not something that can be easily used by non IT professionals so you do need some understanding but once you figure out what to look at this software is great! My first thought when we started using our version 8.5 was that there were several things we wanted added to help us manage projects better. After speaking with reps from maximo support team we realized that adding new features would be expensive. We then decided to start implementing changes ourselves instead of paying additional fees for more features. This has allowed us to get the maximum functionality without having to pay extra money. Project tracking of multiple departments (sales/engineering) within an organization as well as project management tasks have been improved since starting up Maximo. We had previously only used Microsoft Excel to track these items which meant double entry and no way to see who did certain parts or where problems might exist.
