I gave up the Escort Solo2 Wireless Radar Detector because it kept falling off my windshield and was very annoying. After that it was not used for at least two years. I decided to try this holder and it was like glue on the windshield! Excellent glue quality as it is very cold now and I drive from cold to warm garage and back. I will actually order another holder for my other car. It still shakes a bit when I'm driving on a particularly rough road, and it shakes a lot less on a smooth road. I wanted to tighten it but didn't want the problem of it coming loose from the retainer like I did with the Escort retainer.
