I asked the above question about 1000 vs 2100 cycles but that doesn't allow me to answer the question myself. I contacted Tenergy about the issue and received a response shortly after. There was a typo from old batteries that ended up on some of the newer battery packs. To find out if the batteries are 2100 cycle type, look on the battery itself in the "Caution" section for the number engraved on the outer case. If the number is 19XX or 20XX it is a newer version of the 2100 cycle battery. The ones I have are the right type. The batteries themselves are working well so far, but I haven't had them long enough to really test them.
