Review on πŸ–Œ KingOrigin Premium 10 Piece Paint Brushes - Essential Paint Tools and Home Repair Tool Kit by Michael Vargas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They must have changed their brushes after the 1 star rating

First, will they replace your smooth brushes that feel velvety to the touch when painting? 100% not, however I wouldn't mix them with cheap chip brushes that have almost no bristles and fall apart. I bought 4 packs so 40 brushes which I expected to have a lot of pricing issues with, although I don't think being cheap means you're allowed to junk what those 30 cent chip brushes just rubbish at stalk are. On the other hand, it's not. Of the 40 brushes I bought, I've tapped each one on the arm about a dozen times to shake off any hair that might have fallen out while painting, and even stroked the arm dry, wondering if there was a touch has fallen out of bristles. surprisingly it wasn't. I would say in the worst case you might have lost 6 bristles but the vast majority have not lost any. Then another test I do is comb through the bristles and let any curves fall out. It doesn't really affect painting, but I have OCD and want them all to be on the same level. Surprisingly, these bristles were really good for something that costs less than a dollar. I would say the worst brush ever, I had to trim 10 crooked bristles but on average it was more like 1-3 bristles. The pen feels too light and toy-like, but for the price I would easily get by. With a cheap pencil I would make them almost as expensive as those $4 brushes at the hardware store. You know the brown ballpoint pen with black bristles that they usually put their company logo on and sell cheap but decent quality. They're just a little more comfortable due to the weight of a real wood handle, and maybe the density of these brushes is a little higher, so I'd rate them a little higher than these, but also for less than a dollar each. That. I may have gotten a good batch of 40, but for me at least the quality control is dollar brush level. Feel where the bristles are set, I don't think they will hold up to many washes but this is for performing arts for school so I expect them to be somewhat disposable which I like. Haven't used them yet so if they paint like garbage I'll definitely update this review but from what I think of the bristles I don't see that as a problem.
