I thought $25 was a bit pricey for a magnetic bottle opener, but the reviews seemed pretty good and I definitely like the bottle opener's sleek and minimalist look (except for "Johnny Catch ") " is written on the bottom, I wish it was removed or less pronounced). I decided to take the plunge because I believed it should work very well when it costs that much. Unfortunately this is not the case with mine.It was a pleasure to set up and easy to set up and so far has held up very firmly in the kitchen.The opener itself works well no complaints but the magnetic bottle cap catcher just doesn't work as advertised.Er almost always catches a bottle when there are no others on it, but after the first few things go a lot worse I'd say that the second cap gets caught about 75% of the time, the third about 40% of the time, and after that i got lucky with it i actually caught her. The maximum I could catch at one time is 5. There are about 20 sticky caps in the product image which is exactly what I was hoping for but never came close to reproducing. I've tried different types of beer and cider lids and keep getting the same results. If this product could catch at least half of the amount shown in the picture I would be very happy, but I really don't recommend this product, especially at such a high price (compared to other magnetic bottle openers).
