If you were using a Model S or X pedal set, the brake pedal cap would be too wide and not tight. The brake pedal cap was pretty easy to install, took about 10 seconds. The gas pedal was a bit tricky, it took me about 5 minutes. I haven't tried the trick others have mentioned of soaking them in warm water to loosen the gum. Using a lamp and an inspection mirror, I checked the back of the accelerator pedal to make sure it was properly engaged all the way around. I just used my fingers on the pad as it was easy to feel if it was installed properly.
