Failed to load media. I really had no expectations for this product. In fact, I wasn't 100% sure what the purpose of this product was. I read everything and was like "how can they make my underwear soft and wrinkle free” but I thought the cactus shaped "balls” were pretty cute so I decided to give them a try. They were advertised for a faster drying time. To test this, I set the timer on my dryer for 10 minutes less than usual on one drying cycle per load of mixed clothes (pants, jeans, and t-shirts). After the shortened cycle was over, to my surprise the wipes came out dry on this shortened setting. The mixed laundry was dry, but not necessarily hot, but not damp either. I then tried loading white stuff (towels, socks and sheets), also with a drying timer 10 minutes less than normal, and this time they came out hot and dry. I think the "dry balls" in this scenario really worked! Well, as far as how soft they came out and if there were fewer wrinkles, I didn't really notice a difference in softness, but on a mixed load of clothes. that there were as many or maybe more wrinkles than usual. It seems to me that they need more drying time to reduce wrinkles which if true would not result in any time savings. I think this item is nice to have as a novelty, as a gift it's nice to give away, but as effective as it is I'd say so-so. Finally, that would be something I wouldn't have missed if I hadn't...
