Very sturdy, nice mechanism and finish, not 90 degrees when open
When raised, the outside angle is about 95 degrees. Which means your shelf or table leaf will be pitched slightly up, if you don't compensate for the angle. I think this is intended to compensate for out of plumb walls, because the bracket is pretty solid, and I don't see it drooping under load. Overall pretty happy with these, for the price point.
