I thought I wrote a review but I can't see it so I'm trying again. I used the PetSmart Gentle on another dog and it worked but it rubbed his face to the point where I could see the sore skin so I stopped using it. Just dress properly. It is only 2 parts.1. The collar should sit HIGH on the neck (just behind the ears) and be snug.2. The nose loop should reach the end of the spruce (beginning of the nose) at the muzzle. The dog I use this with is the most energetic dog I've ever had and he's as strong as a bull - he has the agility and curiosity of an Australian Cattle Dog and the strength of a Pit Bull. This device is so much better and gentler than anything I've used before and I'm ordering another one just in case they go broke!
