Took a chance but loved the unique design

This product had no reviews yet but Revain ranked it at #1 for new releases. So I decided to give it a try after seeing that this is the only collar on the market that doesn't have a leash attached to the nose loop like all other products. I understand why it is so uniquely designed - to reduce friction on the skin of the nose and prevent the nose loop from slipping sideways. Thankfully it works for my energetic dog. I only use half the force to control it while walking compared to using a…

Fit is key to making this product work!

Initially the product didn't help our 2 year old German Shepherd very well with pulling. Studying the instructions carefully again, we found that we had overlooked two important points: the collar should really be tight enough and be right behind the EARS, and the nose loop should NOT be loose. We were a little concerned that the collar wouldn't choke him if it was too tight. But then I realized that wasn't going to happen because the nose loop would interfere with it. Perhaps that is the…

Collars That Change Life

Calling it a life change might seem silly, but it really was for me! I used to be afraid to go to the park because my dog would drag me everywhere even when I tied him to the stroller! I use this head harness with the leash attached to the leash strap and it's like walking a completely different dog! It was such a pleasure to go back to the park. I should note that I had to remove the product tag to get the black collar a snug fit, but it came off immediately and didn't affect the integrity of…

Better than soft leashes

I thought I wrote a review but I can't see it so I'm trying again. I used the PetSmart Gentle on another dog and it worked but it rubbed his face to the point where I could see the sore skin so I stopped using it. Just dress properly. It is only 2 parts.1. The collar should sit HIGH on the neck (just behind the ears) and be snug.2. The nose loop should reach the end of the spruce (beginning of the nose) at the muzzle. The dog I use this with is the most energetic dog I've ever had and he's as…

Currently the best budget head collar option

Our previously unreactive/quiet dog decided for no reason that bikers and cars are things to chase while walking. We live in an urban area so avoiding them really isn't an option. Although we hoped to break this behavior, we bought some tension free belts and hats in hopes of speeding up the process. Loose straps didn't help at all, it actually made things worse as the leash led to more tangling at the front which just meant less control on our part. I wasn't comfortable with collars under the…
