Also great for protecting walls from furniture

I bought these to hang on the back of a bookshelf headboard to keep the wall from wobbling when I lean against it. It's just the right thickness for me to lean the headboard against the baseboard, and the foam almost fills the space up to the wall so the headboard doesn't lean too far back. I tried to find furniture options for this purpose but none of them were thick enough.
