The annoying pump noise has been eliminated!
My water pump was humming terribly (I suspect the metal particles from my cheap parts that attach to the magnetic impeller in my water pump are out of whack) and this filter stops it completely! My water pump no longer hums or vibrates. Completely saved the day. I'll update if anything happens over time, but so far so good.
