Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Panaracer FlatAway Tire Liner: Enhancing Your Ride's Puncture Protection by Nick Narvasa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lightest liner on the market, stays in place like a charm, non reusable.

These are the best liners on the market if you want the lightest liners, but they work great too. I love the fact that they stick to the inside of the tire instead of having to move and never knowing if they're really centered under the tread. My only complaint is that they are not meant to be reused and this becomes an expensive option to fit in a tire but you want to make sure you don't go flat and don't need the weight of plastic. Well, then these are available. I went the cheaper route, just used a liner and put it in the rear wheel as that's where 99% of punctures happen anyway. I found them easy to install; and once they're in and you ride them, the tires seem to run a little smoother, or maybe a more accurate term, softer. I gave it 5 stars although I complain they aren't reusable but that says on the packaging so I can't fault them and they are very good at preventing slumps and the bike rides a little smoother. . I've had a few objects puncture the tire over the 4000 miles the tire has lasted, but none of them penetrated the inner liner - black dot will be visible. the inside of the liner when you remove the hoop to see where the liner stopped an intruder and prevented dismounting. I saw it being done on YouTube so I decided to give it a try. A YouTube video performed two tests of this liner, the first trying to cut it with scissors and the second trying to push it through with a nail. So I took scissors for cutting thick materials, not even fabric, I cut my hand trying to cut the lining but I was able to. Then I tried to pierce it with a nail but I couldn't do anything, I even put my hand on it because I knew my hand would get hurt easily if it went through, but I had a pretty good feeling for it it wouldn't penetrate and no, but I bent a nail. The last two tests weren't on YouTube, these were things I made up as I had them at home and I was like what the heck! Then I took a thin trimming nail, put a piece of liner on a piece of wood, took the nail and hammered it into the wood, well it didn't pierce the liner it just made a dent in the wood. So my final test was to take a stapler that's used in construction and try to insert a staple through it, again the staple couldn't penetrate the liner. liners they will fail. I know plastic liners cut like butter with cheap scissors, I've never attempted any other test with a panaracer liner, but since I've gotten some flat surfaces with the plastic liners, sharp pointed objects could get in and do this what I did with the Panaracer.
