The first thing I noticed when I received this was that the head was badly driven into the wooden handle and the wood was damaged and cracked. The faces were ugly. I clamped the head in a vise and used a file to reshape the face and then sanded, polished and sanded to be suitable for jewelry work. I repaired the damaged handle by filling the crack and the space between the head and handle with some UV epoxy and it's still holding. So if you expected a professional quality instrument at this price, you're crazy. The tool can at least be made functional enough if you're willing to spend some time with it, but if you want a tool that's ready to use, you'll have to look elsewhere. If you're willing to put in a little time and effort but are on a budget, it might be worth the few bucks it's worth.
