Review on HP 22X DVD Writer with 1140i Compatibility by David Skyline

I replaced my old IDE recorder with this one and had to buy a power converter (cheap and easily available from Revain) to convert it to the to get running . It comes with a fairly long SATA data cable that you simply plug into the back of this recorder and then into a (hopefully accessible) secondary data connector on the motherboard. I installed it and it worked great with no problems. It includes "Media Suite 10" which I haven't installed yet but nothing else. I still have the software that came with the old similar but IDE writer that came with it in the past. I don't see why anyone would be upset about this as it works fine and boots with no issues. I read some negative comments but I'm glad I ignored them because I'm really happy with this device and I trust the products of a big company.
