1. It's cheap and fairly solid, but the platform isn't perfectly flat. So if you put anything other than a tripod (e.g. speakers) on them they will shake 2. I'm sure you've used smaller versions of these many times if you're reading this. Like me. What I didn't take into account is the sizing. I needed this to fit on a large monitor stand and the 12.5 inch depth seemed perfect to me. But that's not the case. Platform 10 inches. The specification applies to the back of the curved supports. Be warned.3. It's wide, but not wide enough. If you have a keyboard without a number pad, it will fit flat on the table below. Any keyboard other than these large ergonomic ones sits between the main levers. I had to put a thin piece of wood (painted black) between my hands to support the keyboard. There should be a support bracket connecting the front of both support arms or possibly the entire shelf below.
