I was skeptical. I had a phone holder with suction cups (2 different ones) and after a few months they stopped sticking. A year ago I had one that matched the air vents and it was a 2003 Toyota. It worked fine on those old air vents, but I've never been able to use them since because the air vents are too thick these days. This phone holder is a brilliant product. The holder fits into the CD player without any problems. It tightens and stays in place. I have a very heavy phone and case and it holds it very well. I'm so glad I finally have a working product that I can use for a long time.
