Review on 💡 2oz Flat Jar of Chip Quik RA891 Rosin Solder Flux (RA) - 50g by Michael Cox

Disappointed by several "fluxes" with rave reviews, I finally settled on this one. Good decision. The plastic container could not hold more product. My iron likes it. My boards love it. Even my old fashioned 63-37 eutectic solder likes it. By the way, do you know why eutectic solder is so much better than 60-40 or any lead-free solder? Because it has no plastic step when heated. It's either solid or liquid, nothing in between. With eutectic solder you get perfect, clean and shiny solder joints. In general I am very satisfied. A little tip for everyone who buys this product: the lid of the container can NOT be unscrewed! It needs to be stirred up. I put a lot of effort into unscrewing the cap with my 77 year old arthritic hands, but to no avail. With the container literally filled to the brim, I almost gave up. Then I looked closely at the "Threads". DOH! Just for your information.
