I took a chance because they looked exactly how I wanted them, Mopar floor mats without the red logo and when I enlarged the photo they didn't look "photoshopped". And I was not disappointed. I saw the black floor mats with the Jeep logo on a test drive and they look the same by comparison. What you see on the product image is what you will get. Topographic map details with small easter eggs. Even the maps on the back show you where to go in the car, and the grid and bitmap are identical. Only logos and a military jeep on the bumps in the second row are missing. Fits like a glove and really snaps into the car hardware though without the nice click you get with standard carpets. I took a closer look at them (see photo) and they are slightly different and not as cleanly cut, but fully functional. The front ones are snug on the sides so there are no rips, but the rear ones are even better as they stick out a bit over the sides. They're packaged fairly well and only the back left mat is slightly curved and doesn't sit flat, but hopefully gravity will help over time. There's a cutout for a drainage feature and it looks very similar to the factory black logo floor mats. , meaning it doesn't have gray foam around the rim and no bridging through the cutout like the updated Mopar models. It fits but I'll use something to seal it better like I saw in the YouTube video. And the rubber stopper that sits under the rug fits into the cutout, but not tightly like you'd expect from a rubber stopper. It just sits there, but doesn't look like it'll pop out unless you're actually kicking it. Finally, there is 1 disadvantage. (Only reason I gave it 4 stars when I would have given it 4.5) The second row mats don't connect well at all. I can't remember how good the ones I've seen on a test drive were, but the only spot where the floor mats are loose is over the rear seat molding and if you step on that part regularly, the two floor mats will close up easily separated. The two mats "match" together as the holes and everything line up perfectly, but they just don't stay together. While I like everything else about them, I just have to come up with a DIY fix. As for the material, it looks like good quality rubber. It's soft and flexible like a Jeep, although I haven't had a direct comparison just from memory. And compared to some expensive aftermarket brands, I like that it doesn't feel as flimsy, hard, and plasticky. However, there were a few small flaws (picture). In general I recommend. Great price for a more than decent product. I've been going through all the weathermats for my new JL for a while because there was always something I didn't like about every option. And of course I was skeptical when they showed up, but I'm glad I took the risk.
