Review on ⏰ Precision Clock Movement Mechanism: Long Shaft, High Torque with 5 Hand Pairs - 1.1 Inch/28mm Replacement Kit by Andrew Amzallag

The mechanism itself is good. I've used them on bourbon barrel lids and had to use a router to slide the movement back about 1/2, but it helps the clock hang better. My disappointment was with the hands. They are small, especially for a long shaft mechanism. We also had to use pliers on one of the sets to mount the minute hand. The only set with a minute hand that actually fits onto the shaft without widening the hole is pictured above. The price was great and I can use it but I need to use a design that moves the numbers in the clock to make it look right.
