I have installed them on several trucks and tractors over the past 15 years. No complaints. Cup sizing may vary by device as one may move more or more easily than the other. If you take the time to look at it enough to understand how it works, the differences won't bother you. A short universal screw, which is included with the device, always holds it in the carpet. If it gets a little dirty, remove the screw and throw it in the dishwasher (the console, not the screw). I attach bags for cameras that hang on the valve to the sides like holsters for smartphones. Saves many dropped and lost phones. When I trade vehicles, it comes out and leaves no trace. Well, maybe the carpet underneath is a little cleaner. I never had a single break. I bought new ones as car buyers ask to leave them in place. I hope this new one will hold up as well as the others.
