I deliberately waited a while before posting a review of these bulbs. I wanted to see how well they hold up. Received my order a month and a half ago and immediately replaced the lightbulb in my Candle Warmers Etc wax heater. I almost gave up on ever using this wax heater again because replacement halogen bulbs were so expensive I figured it just wasn't worth it. Before I did that, I decided to buy a Revain lightbulb and see how long it would last. Reading the reviews I saw that someone had recommended this set of eight bulbs which didn't cost much more than a bulb from another seller. So I ordered them instead. Boy am I glad I did! I use the wax heater almost every day, usually for several hours, and the first lamp is still on. It has already lasted 50% longer than the original lamp. Now I feel like I can recommend these lamps and you can't beat the price. The lamps are individually packed in a large box, so they all arrived safely and undamaged. A piece of advice, especially if you are not inclined to read instructions. Halogen lamps are finicky and lamp life can be shortened due to sebum. So when you put in a new lightbulb, don't touch it with your bare hands. For photography, I use a pair of thin cotton gloves that I have, but a man's handkerchief or other thin fabric will do. get pears. It's been a year and a half now and I thought the update was fine. As I said, I bought these bulbs for use in a wax heater. The lamp that came with the heating pad only lasted a month. I was hoping these replacement bulbs would last a little longer. I wasn't expecting much since the price was so low (I see the price has gone up a few dollars since then). Well I'm very happy to report that the first bulb out of the box lasted a year and a half and is still working! I still use my wax heater almost daily and turn it on for hours. At first I wanted to throw away the wax heater because I figured the cost of halogen bulbs wasn't worth it. I'm so glad I didn't! I recommend these lamps unreservedly. Buy with confidence! UPDATE 9/11/2017: I bought these bulbs over two years ago. I built one into a wax burner that I use regularly in our living room. Finally, after over two years, the first bulb died and I had to replace it. Knowing I had to be careful not to get oil from my hands on the lamp, I used a disposable nitrile glove. So now my wax burner is working again. At this rate it will be about fifteen years before I need to order any more bulbs! I recommend these lamps.
