Charger works great when plugged in and charges iPhone 12 with Magsafe case. There was an old magnetic clip for an old iPhone that didn't hold the iPhone 12 on bumps in the road. So I decided to upgrade to this new Magsafe clamp on the vent. You just need to tighten the clip on the vent to keep it from falling out. It's also very easy to rotate the phone at an angle. It's really good that they include a USB adapter for those who don't have USB-C.
