Review on Kwikset 98880-004 SmartCode 888 Z-Wave Plus Smart Lock Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt in Satin Nickel with SmartKey Security by Zac Pewitt

I love Zwave locks and have several locks at home so I am familiar with Zwave installation and features. However, this lock was very temperamental at the time of installation. If you overtighten the screws, the gears will not work properly, they will stick. I almost packed everything and sent it back out of frustration, but my stubbornness got the better of me and I started playing around with it. Eventually I found out the screws were too tight so I unscrewed them and everything worked fine after that. It took about two hours and a few curses, install, remove and reinstall. It's a good lock and zwave works well.
