The coaster only fits a standard sized soda can, Arizona glasses and green tea will not! The desk was already at the corner. It gets the job done, but the top is textured so make sure you write with a pad or binder underneath the paper. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but the "iPad" holder part on the top is fairly easy to remove.
