Required to connect trailer brake controller. No connection, plug and play. I recommend this type of seat belt for the controller to work with most modern tractors. This is when the terminals are in the right place. I connected it to my cartridge and the controller did nothing. I had to spend some time with the test lamp to figure out the problem. As soon as I plugged the power cord into the correct outlet, it worked. However, the connection needs to be fine-tuned from time to time. It seems to be once every 6 months.
