I bought this for Monroe, my 3 month old female budgie. We've only been friends for 2 weeks. I try (with limited success) to give her a wide variety of foods such as seeds, vegetables, sprouts, fruits, etc. I've become skeptical about the colorful little pellets I've been feeding her. Yesterday I moved it to the TOP. It just seemed like a much healthier alternative. She LOVES this food. I had to grind it for her first as she is used to much smaller granules. I didn't squeeze her this morning and she figured it out herself with no problem. Good product!
