Too big for my birds

This ball is designed for small birds but they are still too big. My parrots used to eat Roudybush mini but I gave it a try as it is a more nutritious recipe. I mixed the two to introduce it gradually. Only one bird ate it reluctantly while the other ignored it completely. They poked around and ate a mini roadbush, which is significantly smaller. While the TOPs recipe is better, I think it would be a better hit if it were smaller.

the fussy kennel pineapple cheek loves it.

We found that we were feeding our pineapple cheek the wrong nutrition as it was eating too many seeds and protein and becoming super hormonal, biting, loud and moody. So I researched the best brands of pellets and found TOP to be highly recommended. we were very skeptical that he would take it on because he is so spoiled and picky - but my god! HE LOVES HER! It took him a minute to "taste it" and before we knew it he finished the small amount we gave him and was asking for more! Be sure to try…

Great sound - when your parrot eats it.

I think this is food for gerbils or hamsters. It's eminently healthy in terms of ingredients and processing, but useless unless your bird touches this product! I literally tried to feed my gold cap with a balloon. He just licked it off and immediately dropped it on the floor. My green cheek doesn't seem to want to taste it either. I've tried feeding them as a supplement to chopped veggies and fruit along with Higgins Intune Harmony (which is pretty 'good' compared to most regular pellets) and…

  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I bought this for Monroe, my 3 month old female budgie. We've only been friends for 2 weeks. I try (with limited success) to give her a wide variety of foods such as seeds, vegetables, sprouts, fruits, etc. I've become skeptical about the colorful little pellets I've been feeding her. Yesterday I moved it to the TOP. It just seemed like a much healthier alternative. She LOVES this food. I had to grind it for her first as she is used to much smaller granules. I didn't squeeze her this morning…

Buddy Loves Top Granules and Muffin Mix too.

My kennel (Jen Day) absorbs these tiny granules. Until recently I could not find these smaller grains. I know top is for parrots, wren is meant to be the best. But while the parrot shop near me buys 50 pound bags for their birds, they don't sell them in just any size. these, and he loves them. They also have parrot cupcakes. I have ordered granules from Revain and will be purchasing cake mixes soon as well. I hope you and your bird are as happy as Buddy and I are. Helen Dawson

Good herbs, great ingredients

It may take some time for your birds to get used to this but my birds like it as an alternative to the other formula I give them from Harrison's. Both are organic, which I liked, but this formula is particularly good as it's loaded with greens and my birds really don't like eating it fresh. They chew on the pellets until they turn into a powder so I don't know what parts of the pellets they actually eat, but I usually toss some of the dust to the wind for the birds outside after it's been…

I love healthy ingredients

I have a picky Quaker parrot. His name is Chevy. Chevy is a feathered (charming) poop, food snob. I've finally switched Mr. Food Snob from a seed-only diet to Zupreem pellets. Everything was going well until I decided to go one step further. i did this The worst thing a bird can imagine. I tried to feed him something healthy! No artificial colors or flavors! No added sugar for extra sweet taste! horror! Chevy was confused. Chevy had a plan. He chewed all of these pellets into a fine powder and…
