Pros: The main plastic insert is easy to install and adjusts to the height of my door. The hose adapters work well and also easily screw onto the correct hose. A thin roll of sticky foam wedged between the glass panes of the door works well too, but I don't want to risk leaving adhesive residue on my rental door. The plastic components and the wing nut sizing method work well and seem pretty solid on their own. Cons: While the pieces are easy to put together, the actual instructions were difficult to follow and can be frustrating for those who take the time. The hose connection plate in the door does not fit well in the frame because the hose adapters are the same width. That means I had to find hard foam inserts between the hose connection plate and the door frame, otherwise too much force would act on the adapter when the sliding door was closed and it would jump out of the hose connection plate. The kit does not include foam inserts for insulation. I have enough of another project to test the build but need to find more to line up the entire door. Once installed, the assembly as a whole doesn't feel very stable or solid as it doesn't make any real contact with the inside. the surface of the door frame, minus my hard foam insert. It fits me now and is pretty good for the price but I don't think I would buy it again or recommend it to others.
