Moisture absorption - short lifespan
Seems to remove a lot of moisture from the average home cupboard - BUT only lasts about 30 days, not 75 days. The top of the bag fills and dissolves desiccant crystals. Moisture is retained at the bottom of the collection bag. It can last 75 days as it says on the box, in a closet house in the arid desert, but not in the southeastern United States. There is actually NO odor, not much when you first open the individual sachets of each moisture absorbing pack as they are packaged in a box. None of the 3 closets I've tried them in smell fresh.
