Good for the first time. It is cheap in price. Fits my V6 Dyson perfectly. Bad - doesn't work at all. I think there are two basic problems. The first is the biggest: at the front of the head, in front of the actual area where something is sucked up, are two different sets of brushes. The front row has several holes where some of the bristles are down. In the second row, there are fewer and they don't line up. So you walk into dust and hair and the brushes push everything forward like a broom. Almost nothing gets into the suction zone. The second issue is that it's a wide head, and I think with the V6's very limited power, so much open area reduces the effectiveness of that limited suction. FYI, I'm just trying to pick up dust and very light pet hair. from hardwoods. This is about as easy as it gets. Just wanted to make sure my expectations aren't insanely high - I don't expect the v6 to pull thick hair out of the rug or anything like that. I only use this to essentially dust or touch up hardwoods in between pulling out the central vacuum. This head makes even my need for light impossible.
