Jumps out of 12v/cigarette lighter just long enough to shut down

Charges fairly quickly but has three major problems. into the 12V cigarette lighter socket and stay there and pop out just far enough to disconnect and stop charging. I've planned on charging my phone while driving so many times only to find that this thing shuts off en route when I get to where I'm going. (That's not because of rough roads, it's because of the spring-loaded bits on the sides that push it out.) 2) The blue light it emits inside the charger to let you know it's plugged into a power source is insane bright – so bright it gives me a headache at night. If you have visual or neurological issues I would steer clear of this, the light is not only inside the USB port but outside as well. 3) It can charge faster than cheaper models IF you can manage to keep it plugged in, but it seems to use a lot of power. Electricity (enough to drain a car battery when I'm not driving) with me. Several times I have been left camping with a dead car battery and it is a new battery and the charger in my car works and I start the car daily. And that only charges one phone and doesn't use the USB port at the same time. It might be worth it if you drive long distances daily, but for me the issues outweigh the charging speed I get from it. but it seems that it uses a lot of electricity in the process (enough to drain my car's battery when I'm not driving).
