ATN95E works as replacement stylus for Music Hall Spirit

I've been searching the internet for a replacement Music Hall Spirit stylus for a long time. The Spirit Cartridge comes with the Music Hall MMF 2.3 player. I found many mentions that the cartridge was made by Audio Technica. But there were no details to indicate whether it was really a clone of an existing AT cartridge. I suspected it might be the AT95E and investigated further. So far there is no conclusive evidence that this is the same cartridge, but the images of the needle certainly looked the same as what I shot with the Spirit. My alternatives seemed to be to order the whole Music Hall Spirit cartridge for $100, but that seemed silly. I also found an "upgraded" carbon fiber pencil from LP Gear but couldn't find any reviews about it. So I risked $35 and ordered an ATN95E. and it paid off. The needle was incredibly easy to insert into the cartridge and worked great the first time I tried it. Yes, it's green, not black, and it doesn't say "Spirit of the Music Hall" on it, but I don't care. I like the green accent on my all black setup. If you are looking for a replacement for the Music Hall Spirit stylus that came with the MMF 2.3 turntable and are wondering if the ATN95E will work, the answer is YES.
