This is a replacement.

Ordered at the weekend, received yesterday. This is not an upgrade of the stylus that came with the player. Just a replacement. It works as expected. Installation was easy, just make sure the new needle snaps into place, there should be no gap between the tip of the needle and the shell. That's a great price at around $15! Others say they have a yellow pen with no AT logos while I had a true white audio engineer. It was in stock and shipped from Revain.

Works great with my AT-LP120-USB

Many years ago I gave my wife a record player for her birthday. Years went by, records were skipped and it didn't sound as good anymore. So it turns out that the needle had to be replaced. I ordered it and it came quickly in the mail, I was happy to try it. The setup process was easy (just follow the included instructions!), and we were soon back listening to recordings without skipping a bar. We have an Audio-Technica player, model AT-LP120-USB, and it works great with it.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Audio technology is not to be trusted.

I had had an AUDIO TECHNICA LP60 turntable for over two years when I noticed that the cartridge had partially detached from the tonearm head shell. Revain has replaceable styluses so I bought a new one to replace the stylus that came installed on it. The new part didn't fit properly at first, but I glued it in place. I put the record on to see if everything was ok. There was no sound. I adjusted the nozzle when the cartridge was completely separated from the sleeve and handle. Never buy Audioโ€ฆ

Do you have an AT-LP60? This is what you need

This is what you need if you have an AT-LP60 TT. Make sure you have the white one with the AT logo. If it's yellow with no logo, you have a generic pen that's ruining your records. The first thing the Amazon seller sent me was a "fake" yellow. I ordered directly from Amazon and got the original. Pretty easy to install, but be careful if you're inexperienced. Produces good sound. Quite a lot of hum, aided by lowering the bass setting on your receiver. Have spare parts ready. They are fragile and

A big improvement in sound quality

I've had my Sony USB player for over five years now and was surprised to learn that I haven't changed the stylus in all that time. After reading some reviews and Q&A I found that the Audio-Technica ATN3600L was the perfect upgrade for my Sony LX300 USB player and I took the plunge. The package arrived two days later and I installed the new stylus in a minute. My records have never sounded better. The ATN3600L gave me a bass boost thanks to the richer bass coming from my Polk speakers. Theโ€ฆ

Replacement for Target's entry-level Audio Technica turntable circa 2019

My local Target was getting a makeover in the summer of 2019 and they made the turntable at half price to get rid of it while they were rotating shelves . This is a replacement stylus cartridge for the Audio-Technica fully automatic belt drive turntable. Phono only, no USB. When it arrived I tested it for fit and function and it works just like the original needle, I can't hear any difference between it and the stock needle. For this reason I give it 5 stars for accuracy, sound quality andโ€ฆ

ATN95E works as replacement stylus for Music Hall Spirit

I've been searching the internet for a replacement Music Hall Spirit stylus for a long time. The Spirit Cartridge comes with the Music Hall MMF 2.3 player. I found many mentions that the cartridge was made by Audio Technica. But there were no details to indicate whether it was really a clone of an existing AT cartridge. I suspected it might be the AT95E and investigated further. So far there is no conclusive evidence that this is the same cartridge, but the images of the needle certainly looked

Amazing sound for audiophiles on a budget

I have an old AT-95E cartilage from a used turntable I received and the needle was bad. I bought a Grado Black at the time to replace the gristle, but I never throw away the old AT95E and replaced the gristle with a fake (3rd party and cheap) but good enough needle replacement. I also have another player that I have paired with the Ortofon OM. After I upgraded the OM stylus to the OM 20, which was a costly endeavor, the OM really worked as it should, with excellent sound quality and detail. Iโ€ฆ

Great sounding pen!

Great sounding pen. I recently bought a new Audio Technica AT-LP60 turntable and while the stock stylus sounded good, the new stylus definitely sounds great. It's definitely an upgrade from the stylus that comes with the player. This stylus really brings out the mids and highs in the music while amplifying the lows. On some tracks, the bass sounded muddy with the original needle and the vocals were a bit dull at times. With this stylus you will really notice a huge improvement in allโ€ฆ
