Review on πŸŽ€ Marzipan Barbie from the Nutcracker by Calvin Hodges

Sturdy but amazingly flexible!

Let's start by saying she's absolutely beautiful! Fair skin and blonde hair paired with a cute tutu in soft pastel colors and small soft ballerinas make her the perfect ballerina! They have no moving joints at all but are all in an elegant stretch with graceful curves on the arms and legs. The arms and legs can move up and down from the shoulders and hips (the legs can do all kinds of splits and they move smoothly), but the ball joint at the waist makes this doll as adorable as a ballet doll; This joint at her waist allows Barbie to assume a variety of beautiful ballet poses and brings a different flexibility that I've never seen in American dolls, especially Barbie. This joint, combined with her long, easily articulated legs, makes this doll a lot of fun to play with! I would like to point out that even when the shoes are tied, they can easily come undone and be lost in the blink of an eye. The top of her dress isn't that secure either, so when she strikes certain dramatic poses, she dazzles everyone! I solved this small problem by sewing a very simple strap on the flat spot that goes around her neck. Her hair is also beautifully styled, with small, tight and intricate curls! Very beautiful! Definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to play with her, rough or how you want, because she holds up like any Barbie doll!
