Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with positive training!

I was afraid to buy this at first. I have never used a training collar and wanted something to train my dogs (I have 5 dogs). All 5 dogs are obedient fairly well, but all have their moments. My oldest dog, Petey (175 lbs), doesn't work on him. It's his size and he doesn't really do anything (and he's very lazy too). Lola and Nevae aren't fans, but listen carefully - I've tried every setting (also used the same settings for myself) and they respond very well to beeps (and a low setting in kick mode, but used literally only once ). . ). A purebred shepherd (if you know shepherds, you're stubborn by nature), Molly is young and headstrong, and loves to mind her own business. However, with a collar (and months of positive training), she can be distracted and off-leash down the street, knowing her limits and listening like she's been professionally trained. We've only given it a beep so far, and that's all it takes. She's gotten to the point where she no longer needs a collar and is still listening (and is still the happiest dog), and our last dog, Blue, only responds to vibrations. These collars work and I would definitely recommend positive training and reinforcement with them. I've never had to use shock mode, and I really don't want to do it unless absolutely necessary. To be honest I've tried up to 50 on my arm in shock mode and it burns a bit. I would never use more than probably 10 on any of my dogs if I absolutely had to. I love my dogs and these collars have helped me (I bought a few more after trying the first one). They are happy, healthy and a very big part of our family. Definitely recommended, but only use with positive reinforcement. Also, give him time. These are not instant results and I can honestly say my dogs were pretty well trained beforehand so I'm not sure we've had a dog that has never listened before and how well the collars will work, but I am can confirm that they work great. with my. The batteries hold up well and I probably only charge once a week. I've never had a problem with the collars coming off, they are well made and stay on (even while swimming).
