I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this shampoo/conditioner the first time I used it. My hair is platinum, very cool blonde/white, and I've always had issues with salon blue shampoos turning my hair purple. It works just as well to reduce yellow as salon brands do without coloring my hair. I left the shampoo on for about 2 minutes and the conditioner on the roots for about 3 minutes, but immediately rinsed the conditioner off the ends, which appear lighter (which is why they always turn purple). I'm happy to see consistent results with continued use - I typically can't use a blue shampoo for a week or so to try and get purple dye out of my hair.
